Usually, yes. The examples on this page were taken on a phone. The best results come from clear, well-focused photos with the whole product visible. Very blurred, dark or obstructed photos may not be worth enhancing, and I will say so before starting.
Yes. Lighting, color, crop and setting may all improve, but the product stays accurate and recognisable. I will not change a product in a way that misleads your customers.
